In 1987, we made history when we opened the first American climbing gym on Elliott Ave in Seattle; it was nothing more than rocks stuck onto painted plywood panels!

Vertical World has upgraded its facilities to provide extensive services beyond rock climbing, such as fitness, yoga, and custom group events.

From birthday parties and church groups to corporate occasions or youth camps – Vertical World is the perfect destination for your next event!

Opening Hours

The gym is open Monday through Friday from 6 am6 am to 10 pm, and we have extended our hours on the weekends, with Saturday and Sunday being 8 am until 8 pm. Come by anytime during those times!

Memberships

Get complete freezing for only $7/month with no commitment. Plus, WA State Sales Tax and a one-time initiation fee of $50 are not included in the price! Upgrade to All Access EFT for just $82/month or add on Youth access at an additional cost of just $40 per month (for those aged 13 and under).

Gym Rates

For non-members, the charge is $22. Kids aged 3-5 can join in on the fun for just $10, while those between 6-13 pay only $16 per day. For a little something extra, they also offer 10 Visit Punch Cards at $190 each and 10 Visit Youth Punch Cards priced at an affordable rate of only $144.

To make things worthwhile, pick up a one-month pass valid exclusively at Seattle Gym for just $96 or even better – Student Month Passes are available at a discounted cost of only 67 $.

Half Moon Bouldering 

SeattleHalf Moon Bouldering Seattle is one of the premier bouldering gyms in Seattle, offering a unique experience for rock climbing enthusiasts. Half Moon provides something for everyone, whether a beginner or an experienced climber.

Their modern facility features an array of wall angles, natural rock-like features, over 11,000 square feet of climbing space, and 5000 square feet of bouldering walls. We also offer classes for all skill levels, from introduction to bouldering courses to advanced training programs focusing on technique and mental preparation. 

Half Moon also offers a variety of membership options, including day passes, punch cards and monthly memberships. With their convenient location in Downtown Seattle, Half Moon is a great place for climbers to get quality training and have fun.

Every day of the week, the gym is open for your pleasure. Monday and Wednesday, they start at 7 am and close at 10 pm; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday opening times are 8 am with a closing time of 10 pm; Saturday’s hours are from 8 am to 9 pm; Sunday, you can come in starting at 8 am until 7 pm that evening.

Seattle Bouldering Project Poplar is an indoor climbing facility in the heart of Seattle, offering various routes for beginner and advanced climbers. With over 10,000 square feet of climbing surfaces, two dedicated bouldering caves featuring wall angles from 10-45 degrees, and 50 ropes set up throughout the gym – there are limitless possibilities for climbers of all ages and abilities. If you’re a regular climber, the Monthly Membership is your best bet! No commitment is necessary, and we’ll automatically process dues from your credit or debit card on the first of every month. If you have to take some time away, just put it on hold for only $5/month – when you come back, there will be pro-rated fees that cover up until then.
